First Week/Pick Up Procedures

What a fun first week!

We loved our first week together and enjoyed getting to know your cute kids! They are so much fun! We learned procedures and rules for our class mixed in with some fun and practice. We are looking forward to next week as we start specials.

Specials Schedule:
Monday: Keyboarding
Tuesday: Computer Science
Wednesday: Library 
Thursday: Writing

A few reminders:

* Monday August 26: Please bring All About Me papers 

* Wednesday August 28: Picture Day (uniform attire) 

* Friday August 30: No School

* Monday September 2: No School

Below is a letter from our Kindergarten Team:

To help improve student pick up for our kindergarteners in front of the school, we are going to make a few slight adjustments. 

In addition to the gate we have been using, we will begin opening the gate east of the portable. We will then have all the kindergarten students stand in front of the portable in a “Kindergarten Zone” marked with cones. We ask that parents stand outside of the area to allow room for the students and teachers. Once you have seen your child’s class exit the gate and enter the Kindergarten Zone, you are invited to approach the area and pick up your child.

EXCEPTION: On your child’s library day, their class will be exiting the school from the main front doors. 

Carpool students will continue to meet in the back and load from the left side of the vehicle.

Hello Kindergarten Families! 

It was so good to meet you all tonight. We can already tell it's going to be a great year. We are so excited to teach your children. We look forward to seeing them this Wednesday. You can find the back-to-school Google slides from the presentation here.

Back to School Night is on Monday, Aug. 19th. Classroom presentations begin at 6:00pm and will be held every half hour until 8:00pm.

Please come to whichever presentation works for you. We will be shutting the door during each session. If the door is shut when you arrive, We encourage you to wait until the next session. However, you are still welcome to come in and join the session if you are unable to wait. We look forward to meeting and working with you all throughout this school year!
